FGML Constitution 2021 Update
1. Each manager must make sure that his players can play enough games to play an entire 162 Season, AND in addition, have enough coverage using the j-factors to play in the playoffs.
2. The 10K bonus is given to all teams that get the following information to the league before the deadline: March cuts, April defaults, and all months results.
2a. Any manager late in complying with any FGML rule or deadline will NOT receive their 10K bonus.
3. Player limitations:
Hitters= actual games played. If the number of at bats does not at least double the number of games he played, then the player is restricted to his actual AT BATS.
Starting Pitchers= actual starts. Also, a starting pitcher may relieve as many times as he actually relieved.
Relief Pitchers= actual innings. ALL "D"(1-4) pitchers may pitch an unlimited amount of innings. "D" starters are still limited by their actual starts. D starters may also pitch relief BUT they must have 3 days rest after their last start to relieve. All relievers may start the number of games they actually started.
Split Graded Pitchers= If used only as a starter, actual starts. If used as a starter and reliever, actual innings. If used as reliever only, actual innings.
all graded "D" starting pitchers can start every 4th game, and relief pitchers have unlimited innings.
3a. Any over-usage of players could cause you to be fined by either a draft pick or cash, as determined by the commissioner.
3b.Players are limited in their base stealing to 125% of their attempts, and then lowered to R 15 after that.
4. Starting pitchers must have at least 3 games rest between starts.
5. Pitchers may never play in the field, bat, or run the bases.
6. A player may only play a position he is not carded for when all other players at that position have either been ejected or injured. You may NOT pinch-hit for a player you cannot legally replace.
7. Playoffs- 7 games: J-0, J-1, J-2 can play anytime. J-3 hitters may start 3 games OR pinch hit 1 at bat in all games. J-3 pitchers may start 2 games OR relieve in 3 games. Unused starting pitchers may relieve in playoffs. J-4 hitters may start 2 games OR pinch hit 1 at bat in all games. J-4 starters may start 1 game OR relieve 2 games. J-4 relievers may relieve 2 games.
7A. Starting pitchers must pitch in a rotation thruout the playoffs-all sp's must have the proper 3 day rest regardless if the playoff round switches to the next round.
7B. The 4 DIVISION WINNERS AND THE 4 TEAMS WITH THE MOST WINS WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.
8.In the event that there is a tie to make the playoffs, a 1 game playoff will be played with the team with the better head-to-head record being the home team.
9.All new rules must have a 2/3 vote in favor of it.
10.IN-SEASON TRADES start immediately after the april playball file has been sent.
1 in-season trade during the 1ST 3 MONTHS OF THE SEASON, AND THEN 3 MORE TRADES WILL BE ALLOWED IN JULY FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST-THE TRADING DEADLINE IS THE AUGUST PLAYBALL FILE.
12.Draft picks for NEXT year can be traded 1 month before the start of the current draft.
13.Cuts down to 35 players are due before the waiver aucton.
